Tars Content Writer and Marketing Internship Challenge

Research and write a long-form article of 2000-3000 words about one of the given topics, and then explain your research and give a walkthrough of the article in a video.

Article Requirements:


Produce a long-form article of size 2000-3000 words. This is a Business Benefits Explainer article about Chatbot Marketing topic, with the following specifications. Please include tips below that will ensure a high-quality article to qualify you for the next step:
 
  1. The article should explain ONE Chatbot Related Topic in an Interesting and Engaging way. Please pick any ONE of the following topics from the list below depending on your interest and knowledge.

  1. The article should be between 2000-3000 words long. Feel free to write longer articles, but longer articles are harder to engage.
  1. NO PLAGIARISM: All submissions will go through an AI-assisted PLAGIARISM Checker tool. If PLAGIARISM is detected in your article, you will be automatically disqualified.
  1. You can write the article like an Essay, but it should be engaging and interesting.
  1. The article should be well researched, with reference to any data or findings that you have quoted
  1. Spend time understanding the topic in as much detail as possible. The idea is to gain deep insights into the topic before writing anything. Your 80% of the time should go into the topic research. The more time you spend reading and learning about the topic, the better it will come out to be.
  1. You should make extensive notes about what you understood. This is something you can show in the loom video as well.
  1. You should Think of several ways to explain the topic and pick the one that is easy to consume, interesting to read, and engaging for the target audience.
  1. Have Chapters or sections in your article, to organize different ideas about the subject.
  1. Focus on Storytelling and what you are trying to explain to the audience.
  1. Make it entertaining, funny, and engaging.
  1. Feel free to add memes, GIFs, stock images, graphics, video clips, audio clips, etc. in your article to better explain the concept in an engaging way.
  1. Most Importantly, be creative in your storytelling and create a memorable experience for anyone who spends 10 min reading your article.
    1. As long as your article is something people would want to read till the end, you are doing a good job.
  1. Finally, writing a good article is a creative journey and as long as you are willing to put the effort in making this even for a Challenge/Assignment like this, you will get better. So don’t overthink and focus on the work.
 

Explain your Research & Give Article Walkthrough in a Video:

  1. Once done with the Article, you need to make a walkthrough video using the Loom video recorder. and explain your whole research process and give a walkthrough of the content that you produced.
    1. Please give a short 1 min. introduction about yourself in the beginning and then explain your research and content. Make sure that your camera is on and your Face is visible in the video when explaining.
 

Evaluation Criteria:


Your submission will be evaluated on the following parameters
 
  1. Output - The final Article output and how well it is able to explain the concept in an interesting and engaging way.
  1. Research Quality - The actual research and understanding that you were able to create on the topic, work that went into research, storytelling, copywriting, presentation, editing, and post-production.
  1. Presentation - How do you communicate and explain your creative decisions in the Loom video
  1. Speed - The time you take to build and deliver the article.
  1. Creativity - Feel free to add extra elements and stories to the article. You can add more of them after the 1st submission and re-submit. Your latest article will be considered.

Submitting the Article:


Write your article on Notion as a page. (Create an account on Notion with personal workspace if you don’t have it). Share the Notion page publicly so that anyone with the link can read it.
Please make sure that the Notion Page link works in the chrome incognito window, before submission.

Notes:


  1. We think that ideally, you should be able to produce this article in 4-5 hours. It would be great if you could let us know the time it took you to produce it in the email itself.
  1. Once you submit the article, we will review it and will respond to you within 2-3 days about the next steps.
      • If qualified for the next round, we would set up a ~60 minutes Zoom call with you to talk about you and we will also walk through your research and writing process.
